  • Feature: Users set their account security and configure notification settings.

  • Use: Each user can adjust the level of security on their account and stop receiving unnecessary updates.

Prerequisites

None.

Opening the My Profile page

Go to the top right corner of the page and click the user icon. A menu displays. Select My Profile. The page has four widgets. Expand a widget to review and update settings. There is no Save button on this page. Nektar auto-saves changes.

The menu contains a link to the My Settings page. Learn more.

Security Settings

Open this widget to configure 2FA, enable single sign on, and close your platform account.

  • Two-factor authentication - The user can enable 2FA to secure their account login. Note this setting is for the individual account. Admins with permissions can enable 2FA for all platform users on the Company Settings page.

  • Single sign on - By default, users sign in with a username and password. Optionally, users can replace the default with a single sign on (SSO). Click a button (Google or Microsoft) and follow the workflow to grant permissions. During the next account login, click the SSO button instead of using a username. To remove the SSO feature, open the security widget and click the trash icon. Nektar restores the default username sign-in.

  • Forget Me (GDPR) - Click this button to close your Nektar account and auto-delete personal data.

Cloud Storage Settings

Expand the widget to see the default file management system. In most cases, users see the Nektar system. On the Company Settings page, admins can enable a different cloud storage solution.

Notifications Settings

Review and update work order notification settings. Learn more.

Misc Settings

Users can set their location to a time zone and customize the unit of measurement that the platform displays on some pages.
