Create a dashboard widget to display data in a table.
Opening the Create Widget window
To create a widget:
Click Dashboard on the side menu.
Go to the top right corner and click Edit Layout> Add Widget.
Click the Type field and select Table.
Fill in the fields (see below).
Add filters. (optional, learn more).
Click Create.
Filling in the fields
Go to the top of the window and enter a title and description (optional). Click the Choose Primary Focus link to select a data set.
In the popup, go to the Primary Focus field and select an option (e.g. assets, tasks, or work orders). Depending on your selection, the popup displays additional fields. Select an option for each field. Click Save to close the popup.
Customize settings.
Show on Mobile - This feature is enabled by default. Uncheck the box to hide this widget on mobile devices.
Color - Customize the colour of the widget on the dashboard.
Include Count - If this box is checked, Nektar displays the number of table items at the end of the title.
Sort - Click the field and select a variable to sort the table items.
Ascending - This is the default sort order. Optionally, click the field and select Descending.
In the below screenshot, the table shows the total number of pickup trucks in the operation. Click a cell on the left side of the table to open a popup that displays a task summary for that item. Conversely, click the left cell to display the asset summary in a popup.
Adding filters
Add one or more filters to focus on a narrow subset of data. In the example below, the user created a widget to show the number of pickup trucks that are currently available for use.
