Create a dashboard widget to display data in a line graph.
Opening the Create Widget window
To create a widget:
Click Dashboard on the side menu.
Go to the top right corner and click Edit Layout> Add Widget.
Click the Type field and select Line Graph.

6. Click Create.
Filling in the fields
Go to the top of the window and enter a title and description (optional). Click the Edit Primary Focus link to select a data set.
In the popup, go to the Primary Focus field. The first field is pre-filled (i.e. Tasks) and can't be changed. Select an option for the other two fields. Click Save to close the popup.
Customize settings.
Show on Mobile - This feature is enabled by default. Uncheck the box to hide this widget on mobile devices.
Color - Customize the colour of the widget on the dashboard.
Group Value - Click the button and select a variable to display on the X-axis. The number of fields on the Select Parameter popup that require a selection depends on the parameter type. Click Done to complete the selection.
Group By—Use this filter to disaggregate the data and display (if applicable) multiple lines. The graph below shows a separate fuel purchase line for each storage tank (referenced by identifier numbers).
Viewing details
In the below screenshot, the line graph shows the volume of fuel purchased by date.

Adding filters
Add one or more filters to focus on a narrow subset of data. In the example below, the user created a line graph to show the volume of fuel purchased for one outside storage tank.
