Within the Asset Definition Manager there are advanced settings that a user can work with to enable or disable wider reaching behaviors for Asset Definitions. Accessing these settings is shown below, as well as the resulting modal.
Some important options included:
Enabling of Telematics functionality for the asset type
Enabling of Beacons functionality for the asset type
Locking the location of all existing and future assets in this definition (especially useful for assets that have accurate locations that have been imported or surveyed and shouldn't change)
Default format when viewing the assets of this definition in a grid
Enabling or disabling specific widgets in the Asset Summary for assets of the asset type
