Feature: Integrate an asset with a telematics provider.
Use: Enable telematics at the asset definition level to display the telematics widget on the Asset Summary page for any asset with this definition type. When enabled, Nektar displays the interface required to link a telematics device to an asset.
Prerequisites
You need user permissions to edit asset definition settings. If required, contact your administrator to enable those permissions.
Configuring the asset definition
Go to the side menu and click Assets > Asset Definition Manager.
Select an asset type.
Go to the top right corner of the page and click the three-dot icon.
Select Advanced Settings. A popup displays.
Check the Enable Telematics box.
Configure the Manage Auto Update Elements page. (optional)
Click Save.
