Create a dashboard widget to display rich text. Use this widget on a Global dashboard layout to share information with other team members, such as announcements, instructions, or reminders.
Opening the Create Widget window
To create a widget:
Click Dashboard on the side menu.
Go to the top right corner and click Edit Layout> Add Widget.
Click the Type field and select Rich Text.
Fill in the fields (see below).
Click Create.
Filling in the fields
Go to the top of the window and enter a title (visible on the dashboard) and description (optional).
If you enter text into the Description field, Nektar adds an i icon to the dashboard widget. Mouse over the icon to display the text.
Customize settings.
Show on Mobile - This feature is enabled by default. Uncheck the box to hide this widget on mobile devices.
Color - Customize the colour of the top edge of the widget.
Text - Enter text that will display on the dashboard.
Toolbar - Click a button to style or format the text.
