  • Feature: Use relational operators, Boolean operators, or column-specific filters to hide column rows.

  • Use: Filter data on the task grid details table without leaving the page.

Prerequisites

Know how to open a task grid details table.

Using relational operators

Open a task grid details table. Go to a column and click the search icon. A menu displays. Select a relational operator.

Enter a value in the blank field and hit the Return key. The table filters the data and displays rows that are true for the expression. To remove the filter, clear the field or click the search icon and select Reset.

Adding logical operators

You can refine a filter by adding logical operators (e.g. and, or, etc.). Go to the bottom left corner of the page. Click the filter icon or link.

The Filter Builder popup displays. Click the plus (+) icon next to the And icon. Select an option. Click OK to save.

Select Add Condition to attach another relational operator to the same logical operator.

Select Add Group to insert another logical operator plus a relational operator.

The new filter displays at the bottom of the page.

  • Use the checkbox to enable and disable the filter.

  • Click the filter icon (or link) to open the filter window.

  • Click Clear to delete the filter.

Using column filters

Apply one or more column filters to hide grid data. Locate a column label and click the filter icon. Select one or more options. Menu options vary with the type of data in the column. Add filters to other columns if required.
