Change the data display in task and asset grids

  • Feature: Hide or unhide columns in the task (or asset) details grid.

  • Use: Use the Column Chooser to hide data that is unimportant to you.

This article shows you how to use this feature on the task grid. The same feature is available on the asset grid.

Prerequisites

Know how to create a custom layout for the task details grid.

Opening the customization tool

Go to the side menu and select Tasks > Views Tasks.

  1. In the popup, click the Load Task(s) button. The task grid displays.

  2. Expand a subfolder.

  3. Click a task. The task details grid displays in a new window.

  4. Click the Customization Dialog icon in the toolbar. The Column Chooser displays in the bottom right corner of the window.

  5. Use the checkboxes to hide or unhide table columns.

  6. Click the X icon to close the Column Chooser.
