A section is a organizational tool for asset or task elements, giving you the ability to define the way your elements are laid out and sorted in a definition to better suit your needs. Sections can also contain descriptions to provide explanations or further detail to users, and can be set to be visibly collapsed by default to hide less relevant or rarely modified elements. At least one section is required for a valid task or asset.

Note that you can change the ordering of your sections in the Asset Definition Manager or Task Definition Manager with the highlighted controls shown below with a simple drag and drop.
