Geofences help you monitor asset activity within defined areas and provide visibility across multiple parts of the system.
One of the primary benefits of geofences is the ability to quickly see which assets are currently located within a specific area. On the Geofences page, you can view the assets inside each geofence.
You can also open an individual Asset Summary page to see which geofences that asset is currently within.
Geofences can also be displayed on the main Map page. By enabling the Geofences toggle in the top-right corner of the map, you can visually overlay your geofences to better understand asset movement and location context.
Within Projects, you can view whether a project is linked to any geofences, making it easier to associate geographic areas with specific work or operational activities.
Finally, geofences can be used to power Automations. You can configure geofence automations in Automation Manager to trigger when an asset enters or exits a geofence, enabling notifications, work orders, or other workflow actions based on asset movement.
