Note: Ensure the feature is enabled before continuing. Navigate to Permission Manager and enable the Geofences page under Menus β†’ Map β†’ Geofences. Then, in the Map tab under in the General section, enable permissions to Create, Edit, and Delete Geofences.

To create a geofence, begin by navigating to Maps from the left-hand navigation bar. From there, select Geofences.

Once on the Geofences page, you will see the geofence navigation panel on the left-hand side. From this panel, you can create either geofence folders (to help organize your geofences) or a new geofence.

To create a geofence click the + button in the geofence navigation panel

Now you can

  1. Define the geofence boundary directly on the map

  2. Select a colour for the geofence.

  3. Enter a name and description for the geofence.

  4. Link the geofence to a project (optional).

  5. Save your changes to complete the creation process.

Once saved, a pre-population will occur that checks what assets are currently already in the geofence. After that is complete, you will start to see assets that are currently within the bounds of the geofence.
