Overview
My Time Cards is a self-service time interface that allows employees to view, record, and manage their own time card entries. It provides a calendar-based interface where employees can log daily hours against projects and cost codes, track pay period totals and overtime, and review the approval status of submitted time cards.
Accessing My Time Cards
Navigate to My Time Cards from the left application menu under Time Cards. Access requires the My Time Card menu permission to be assigned to your permission group
Note: Your user account must be linked to an employee asset in the system. If you see an error indicating no asset is linked, contact your system administrator.
Interface Layout
The My Time Cards page is organized into three sections of information:
Pay Period Summary Cards
Information cards appear across the top of the page that include the start/emd date of the current pay period, as well as how many days remain in the period, hours worked (and overtime) for the current and previous pay period, and the date of the next schedule pay day.
Calendar and Activity Feed
A month-view calendar shows time card entries for each day. The current pay period is highlighted in blue. Pay days are highlighted in green. Click any date to see the time cards recorded for that day. Time card entries appear as colored pills on the calendar. The color reflects their status (see statuses below).
The Activity Feed on the right hand side shows the time cards for the selected day. Each entry displays the project, foreman, and total hours in a color-coded badge. Click any entry to view its full details.

At the bottom is various charts and and visuals breaking down your time across cost codes

Recording a Time Card
Note: Recording a time card from this interface requires your company has the Allow Employees To Record Their Own Time setting enabled in Company Settings. Some companies have only foreman record time (in the Foreman Entry interface) and use the My Time Card interface only for allowing employees to review their time
Click a date on the calendar for the day you want to record time.
Click the + New Time Card button in the calendar toolbar. If it does not appear, see the note above.
The Create Time Card Modal will appear.
Choose your date, project, foreman, and add any comments about the work that day.
Add cost codes, and associated hours.
To attribute hours to a piece of equipment (for companies who track equipment hours), click the + button on a specific cost code, and choose your equipment from the list. Then give the equipment hours for that cost code.
When you are done, click Save
Things to note:
Each time card entry requires at least one cost code with hours.
Hours are entered in quarter-hour increments (0.25). The system will round values to the nearest quarter.
The total across all cost codes on a single time card cannot exceed 24 hours.
A running hours badge at the top of the time section shows your cumulative total. It turns yellow/orange to warn you that you reach the daily overtime threshold for the time card.
The Add Cost Code button is enabled only after the current row has both a cost code and hours filled in.
Each cost code can only be selected once per time card.
To remove a cost code row, click the trash can icon on the right side of the row.
Equipment hours are tracked separately from employee hours and do not count toward the 24-hour daily maximum for the employee.
If you attempt to create a time card for a date, project, and foreman combination that already exists, the system will detect the duplicate and switch to edit mode for the existing entry rather than creating a new one. You will see a message informing you that the time card already exists.
You cannot create time cards for dates beyond the end of the current pay period. The Insert button will be disabled for future dates outside the current period.
A maximum of 24 hours can be recorded per cost code entry, and the combined total across all cost codes on a single time card is also capped at 24 hours.
Reviewing a Time Card
Click any time card entry in the Activity Feed (or directly on a calendar appointment) to open it in Review Mode. In review mode:
All fields are displayed in a read-only state.
A status badge indicates the current approval status.
Statuses
Waiting (Gray) - The time card has been submitted and is awaiting foreman review.
β
Approved (Green) - The foreman has approved the time card and it is waiting to be processed on the next payroll cycle
β
Rejected (Red) - The foreman has found a problem and rejected the time card. Usually this will only occur when the foreman cannot renconcile the issue themselves and need to outright reject it. Rejected entires also appear with a red highlight on the calendar
β
Processed (Blue) - The time card has been approved by the foreman and processed by payroll and should appear on your next paycheque
Editing a Time Card
From review mode, click the Edit button (pencil icon, top-right) to enter edit mode. Editing is only available for time cards with a "Waiting" status. If the time card has been approved, rejected, or processed, the Edit button will be disabled and a tooltip will explain why.
In edit mode you can:
Change the date, foreman, project, and comment.
Modify cost codes, hours, and equipment assignments.
Add or remove cost code rows and equipment.
Click Save to save changes, or Cancel to discard and return to review mode.
Delete a time card (only time cards with a status of Waiting can be deleted).
