Ensuring personnel can only access data relevant to them is crucial for any organization, and with the Permission Manager, this control is given directly to you. However, there may be multiple personnel who need the same permissions due to shared job title or location of work. This is where permission groups come in to play.
A permission group is a predefined collection of permissions that can be assigned to any number of users, ensuring that all members of a team access only information that is relevant to them. Permission groups encompass almost all aspects of the app, including but not limited to:
Asset view permissions based on projects
Task view, create and edit permissions based on their definitions
Individual report view conditions
Ability to create private layouts
Various global level permissions for editing, viewing hidden fields, etc.
