A work order is a collection of data that allows you to assign users to complete work in relation to an asset. Common work orders can be saved as work order templates for re-usability. The structure of a work order can be matched closely to your existing processes and functions. Work order data includes:
A work order name and description
A status to indicate progress on the work order
Date parameters for auditing and tracking
Associated asset
Users assigned to the work order
Line items that describe specific work to be done and tasks that should be recorded
Any task references (tasks previously recorded that were used as the basis, or reference, for creating the work order)
